Have you always wanted to straighten your teeth but don’t want the hassle of braces? Invisalign may be the right choice for you, especially if you are self-conscious about the metal in your mouth and want the freedom to eat whatever you want without having to worry about getting food stuck in your braces. From my experience using invisalign near me, I found that there are some restrictions on foods, but it was mostly just minor inconveniences.
How I Decided On Invisalign
I found out about the Invisalign system from my dentist, who told me that braces near me are the best way to straighten teeth. I was a little hesitant at first because I had never heard of it before. But then he told me that it’s basically a clear set of braces and you can pretty much wear them in public without anyone even noticing they’re there. And this was perfect for me because I didn’t want to be an adult with metal teeth anymore! So, I decided to go ahead with getting them because they seemed like a great option for someone who doesn’t want metal braces near me or traditional ones.
The Consultation Process
Afterward, it’s time to find out how much braces near me are going to cost! The answer might vary depending on which type of braces you’re getting as well as where you go for treatment. I had my teeth examined by a dentist who gave me an estimate and made sure I was able to afford the service before proceeding with my plan.
I was told that even though the price of this procedure would be high initially, it would be worth it in the long run because I wouldn’t need any more treatments or adjustments and the results would last longer. My dentist also offered financing options which helped alleviate some of the financial burdens. After weighing my options, I decided that this was a good opportunity for me and went ahead with my plan.
For those who are considering whether they should get Invisalign or not based solely on cost savings, here is some information that may help your decision-making process.
Getting The Aligners
The first thing that you need to do is have a consultation. This will help the doctor determine which teeth are crooked and what degree of correction is needed. After the consultation, you’ll be fitted for a set of aligners. These aligners can take as little as six weeks to as long as two years to straighten your teeth. The length of time depends on how badly your teeth are crooked, so it’s best to go with the shortest time possible. Once you have your aligners, they will be mailed out in three phases over two years. You’ll want to wear them full-time for the recommended amount of time each day or night before switching them out with the next set to prevent shifting.
Wearing The Aligners
The aligners are comfortable and light, and they fit well in my mouth. I can’t tell that I’m wearing them, or that there’s anything in my mouth at all. They’re not bulky like metal braces, so it’s easy to talk and eat normally. The only downside is that the aligners are white, so if you wear colored clothes, people will know you’re wearing them! Also, after about a week of wearing an aligner, the plastic starts getting sort of gooey around the edges. But other than that, this has been a great experience for me. One thing I don’t like though is when the Aligners start slipping out of place and turning sideways on my teeth. Luckily, my dentist said it’s normal for them to do that now and then.

The Results
I was a little scared to get Invisalign at first because I was worried about being uncomfortable, but I had nothing to worry about. It’s so easy, and it doesn’t hurt one bit. Best of all, my teeth are straight and I don’t have any metal in my mouth. The only downside is that you can only eat soft foods for the first few weeks after getting your aligners on and they make your mouth feel dry sometimes. But other than that, it’s been amazing! I’m really glad I decided to do this. My teeth are more beautiful than ever now and there’s no discomfort or worries anymore. If you’re thinking about getting Invisalign, just go for it! You’ll be glad you did.
